1. Turn on the TV display and receiver.

3. Connect the HDMI cable to your laptop.
- Need an adapter for your Mac? There should be one on the table.
- Only have a VGA port? Use our VGA to HDMI converter which should be in the room (perhaps in the A/V cabinet?).
4. Configure the video output on your laptop as desired (mirroring, extend the desktop, resolution, etc)
- External monitor resolution should be 3840x2160 or 1920x1080 for best results.
5. Configure the sound output on your laptop as needed in order to use the HDMI connection and room sound system.
- The HDMI connection may be labeled Sony TV, and your laptop may auto detect or remember the correct settings.
- Do not select an AirPlay sound output when using an HDMI connection. Trust me.
6. Adjust the sound volume as needed using the Receiver remote (switch must be on Main).
7. You can display the same thing on both screens, or display something else on the other screen.
8. You can change the sound mode in order to produce a more roomy or realistic effect.
9. When you're done, disconnect the cable and turn off the receiver and TV displays.
